11:00 BST (19:00 local). MUTV's live coverage starts at 10:30 BST. In India it will be telelcast by Neo Prime at 3 P.M. IST.
Form guide:
United conceded early and late goals to lose 3-2 to Yokohama F•Marinos
on Tuesday in the third game of Tour 2013 presented by Aon. The Reds are
likely to be in for a similarly tough test against Cerezo Osaka, who
have won four of their last six J-League games, including a 2-1 win over
the Marinos a fortnight ago, and are fifth in the table.
Ins and outs:
Robin van Persie is fit after being taken off as a precaution in
Yokohama with a thigh strain. David Moyes is set to make use of his
full squad to cope with the heat in Osaka but expects Danny Welbeck to
play. Michael Carrick (groin) is still a doubt, while Shinji Kagawa is
almost certain to play some part against his former club.
Opposition boss:
Well-travelled Brazilian Levi Culpi has had three different stints in
charge of Cerezo, the first of which was in 1997. His current spell
began in August last year. Culpi was responsible for bringing Kagawa's
talent to the fore in 2007 and the duo helped Cerezo earn promotion to
the J-League's top flight in 2010.
Did you know?
'Cerezo' means 'cherry tree' in Spanish, cherry being the flower of
Osaka city. Shinji signed for the club in 2006 while still at high
school and went on to score 55 goals in 125 appearances for his hometown
team.
Star man: Yoichiro Kakitani is Cerezo's
top scorer so far this season with 10 goals in 17 appearances. The
attacking midfielder made his international debut for Japan earlier this year.
Quote/unquote: "Cerezo
set me out on the international arena. The fans and supporters are back
here to see me play for my club and I want to perform with my utmost
effort." - Shinji Kagawa
