Manchester United To Trial A Singing Section To Create More Atmosphere At Old Trafford

Fans will trial a new singing section at Old Trafford during next month’s Champions League clash with Real Sociedad on Wednesday 23 October.

 

Up to 1,400 of the most vocal United supporters will be in the South East quadrant where the away fans usually sit.

The fan initiative has been led by supporters’ groups Reclaim United and Stretford End Flags as well as Reds fan Pete Boyle, and it has received the backing of fanzines Red News and United We Stand.

Supporters who would like to participate on the night can apply by sending their name, season ticket number or membership number and quantity of tickets they would like to otsingingsection@hotmail.co.uk.

On 30 September, fans will be asked to confirm their interest by ringing the ticket office. If the allocation is not filled by season ticket holders, the remaining places will then be offered to members. For more information, visit the Fans United facebook page.
