Cristiano Ronaldo Dashes Manchester United Hopes After Revealing He Is Confident Of Agreeing New Real Madrid Deal
Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have dashed any hope Manchester United had of re-signing him.
The Portuguese superstar now says he is confident he will be able to agree a new contract at Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old still has two years left on his current deal, but after a difficult season at the Bernabeu in which Real failed to win any silverware it had been reported that Ronaldo was ready to move on.
There were also reports of divisions among the players and boss Jose Mourinho, who has now left the club to return to Chelsea.
Manchester United were watching developments with interest, but it looks like they will not be able to bring their former star back to Old Trafford for a second spell at the club.
Ronaldo told reporters on Friday: "I am well, calm and not worried about it. I know we will reach a deal."
Club president Florentino Perez will be hoping to complete negotiations soon.
He this week described Ronaldo as "priceless" and said he is convinced the Portugal international will stay and help the club win their 10th European Cup.
